Why People? WHY?

Do you know what will be the worse things happened inside the cinema?

Let's brain-storming !

For me, I hate being disturbed while I enjoying my movie ( I believe everyone does ).

I hate people doesn't turn their handphone into silent mode, eventhough they did but they answered the phone and speak out loud....

I hate people who starts shaking and kicking the coach infront of them. and you'll feel the VIBRATION throughout the movie session. This is really irritating !

I hate people sitting near me start discussing the movie : how come, why la, who die and all sort of nonsense... and whispering to each other especially couples!

So, who would be your worse experience?

Wedding Dinners

Monday, December 29, 2008

I had two 'red bomb' this month. One is my secondary classmate who back from Australia just to get married with her darling from Indonesia. The other one is my friend who works in the advertising firm... I had the wedding dinner in two consecutive week. Kinda boring with the foods! Not much variety.

It was so nice to see couples stepped into marriage life. Somehow I do have the feeling to get married too. Especially when you attended their wedding dinner, the atmosphere of the banquet, the slide show of the pictures taken, the musics they played, the lovely couples are just too loving.. I just feeling so touched and happy for them to got their life-time partner, eventually tear drops a little. I believe you do have the same feeling like me too.. especially girls....

Of course, during this time, I got chance to meet up most of my friends, we were gathered and had fun too. Catching up one another with the current lifes, gossiping here and there, talked about old school stuffs and laughed, taking picture here and there and etc..

I had taken few pictures during both wedding dinner, you may enlarge it to have better view.

Happy Marriage !!!!

Merry Christmas !

Merry Christmas Everyone !!!!

This year Christmas is a bit quiet, I don't feel the chritmas atmosphere at all, seriously!

I left office earlier, met up with baby to window-shop at one u for awhile and dinner at SS2. We don't really fancy to have Christmas dinner at a fancy restaurant. We ate normal as usual. He sent me home earlier because I had to prepare myself before going to church.

But being a Catholic, go to church is the MUST during this festive. Rachel rang me up to confirm the timing. Rachel and I went to St. Francis Xavier at Jalan Gasing for the midnight mass. I was there at about 10pm for the caroling and mass started at 11pm.

Thought of having a light supper with Rachel after the mass but her bf doesn't seem interested or he feels tired after work perhaps? While on the way home, I get McD for my supper ! Ya, I know it's heavy but it's ok (la).. whatever... =P

On Christmas Day, I woke up at 12pm, did the washing for my cloths for a week. (because no cloth for me to wear already, gosh... ssssshhhhhhhhhh). Baby picked me up and went for a super late lunch, we had dimsum, it tasted good but expensive ! Then we heading down to Bangsar to shop... We shopped/walked almost all boutiques at Bangsar Telawi... and baby got me some nice dress/tops. Thanks for the accompany baby!.. (not every guy like to do shopping with girlfriend, i know that).
Again, we went for hawker stalls for dinner, we had a really light one this time as we had late lunch. There goes our day... Merry Christmas for myself and for everyone =P

This year no Christmas present ! How sad!!??? Santa Claus, where's my present???

Sad Friday

Friday, November 21, 2008

Today is not a good day for me. I'm feeling really upset!

I was deeply hurt by your words and I thought of it over and over again. I dropped my tears during work as well as on the way back home. I just couldn't take it eventhough I sound steady with my deep sad voice.

I'm stuck now, and I really do not know what should I do. How could I ? How could you? How could us? How? Tell me what should I do.

My Holidays...

Wednesday, November 19, 2008

I was kinda busy with my works lately eversince when I back from my work+holidays to Sabah & Kuching last month.

Erm... now back to my work+holidays..
I was in KK for a week, first two nights was with my sales manager for work and then I'd extended my holidays, another four nights. One of my colleague asked me, don't I feel bored staying in KK for a week? My replied to her was NO.. not at all. I was so busy working and meeting up my friends.. I was so exciting...
When I was in KK, I brought one of my friend from KL--Kim Jie to visit KK.. I brought her to Muzium Sabah, and Nexus Karambunai Beach Resort and had a late lunch together at Warisan Square before I sent her back to her aunt's house. There goes half a day... and then I drove to airport to meet up my ex-colleagues.

Besides meeting up with my ex-colleagues for dinner, I also went up to the Kinabalu Park for a night stay with friends! It was so cold up there because it was raining heavily and windy. It was a nice place to stay (I think the last visit plus overnight was few years back). Feeling so cool and relax.

Are You Able to Perform In The Event of Emergency Evacuation?

Monday, November 17, 2008

The premium seating onboard--emergency exit row, becasue it's more spacious but not universally so. More space comes with more restrictions for this type of seating that should be considered before asking for a seat in the exit row.

For airlines that permit advance seat selection, securing a seat in the emergency exit row may be restricted. Many airlines do not permit booking exit row seats in advance for a number of reasons including:

(1) making sure that the passenger is appropriate for the seating
(2) because errors have occurred and passengers have had to be re-seated at the airport, causing possible inconveniences for the affected passengers (especially if they are not traveling alone).

Although not all airlines restrict the booking of exit row seating be forewarned - if you or someone you are traveling with falls under the restrictions placed on the emergency exit rows, you will be reseated. The inflight crew will not ignore safety procedures, which certainly does include whether a passenger should or shouldn't be seated in the exit row.

Below are the passengers may be barred from being seated in an emergency exit row :

(1) Children under 12 (sometimes up to 15) years old
(2) Unaccompanied minors
(3) Passengers traveling with infant.
(4) Passengers with any physical or mental limitations that may affect a passenger's ability to perform the functions required to remove the door and/or clear the path in the case of an emergency.
(5) Passengers traveling with a pet or service animal
(6) Passengers who do not feel comfortable with the idea of performing the necessary duties in the case of an emergency.
(7) Passengers who do not speak any of the languages used by the crew on board (passengers in the exit row need to be able to understand safety instructions in the case of an emergency).
(8) Passengers who have requested additional assistance from the airline, whether it be assistance to or from the aircraft, additional assistance on board, etc.

The extra legroom can almost make you forget that your elbows are snuggly planted against your rib cage, but the emergency exit row comes with restrictions. Make sure that you do not fall under those restrictions when you secure a seat in order to avoid the disappointment or frustration of being reseated.

NWA's E-Boarding Pass

Friday, October 31, 2008

Northwest Airlines announced the expansion of its paperless boarding pass, effective October 29, 2008, to its Detroit WorldGateway hub. This comes after a successful test program in Indianapolis, Indiana. E-Boarding Passes allow customers to use their mobile phones and other handheld devices to clear security and board the airplane.

Northwest now offers E-Boarding Passes to customers traveling non-stop from Detroit to cities within the U.S when checking in at nwa.com, using a PC or a handheld mobile device. Customers traveling non-stop from Indianapolis can continue to also use E-Boarding Passes.

The E-Boarding Pass incorporates passenger travel details on an industry standard mobile barcode that is sent directly to hundreds of handheld devices and mobile phones in the form of an e-mail, WAP push/link or MMS message.

Passengers choosing E-Boarding Pass no longer require a printer or kiosk to print their boarding pass. They can receive their E-Boarding Pass on the move and precede directly to airport security checkpoints.

How to use ??
When using nwa.com check-in from your PC or mobile device, select the E-Boarding Pass option from the drop down on the "Completing your Check-in" page. Simply provide your mobile information when prompted and your E-Boarding Pass will be sent to your mobile device after you complete check-in.

To provide the best quality bar code and E-Boarding Pass, the following information will be required:
* Mobile service provider
* Mobile handset make
* Mobile handset model

At the airport:
* Have the barcode image available on the screen of your device when approaching the security checkpoint or boarding gate.

Note – if the scanner cannot read your E-Boarding Pass, a paper boarding pass will be required.
* Ensure the entire barcode is visible on the screen of your device.
* Make certain the backlight is on when the barcode is being scanned.
* At the gate, hold your E-Boarding Pass on the scanner. The agent will advise when your E-Boarding Pass has been validated and you can board

Where is E-Boarding Pass offered?
E-Boarding Pass is currently offered on non-stop flights from Indianapolis, IN and Detroit, MI during check-in on nwa.com. If you are departing from IND you must be checking in as a single passenger on a Northwest operated non-stop flight within the United States. Non-stop service from Indianapolis, IN is currently available to: Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Boston, MA, Denver, CO, Detroit, MI, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ft. Myers, FL, Hartford, CT, Kansas City, MO, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, Memphis, TN, Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, Orlando, FL, Philadelphia, PA, Raleigh-Durham, NC, San Antonio, TX, San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, Tampa, FL, and Washington, D.C. (DCA).

What types of devices can receive an E-Boarding Pass?
E-Boarding Pass can be used on hundreds of mobile phones and PDAs, and with the following service providers: AT&T US, Alltel US, Sprint US, T-Mobile US, and Verizon US.

When will I receive my E-Boarding Pass?
Your E-Boarding Pass will be sent after you complete check-in.

I did not receive my E-Boarding Pass, can I request another one?
Yes, if you do not receive your E-Boarding Pass, you can check in at nwa.com again and request another E-Boarding Pass be sent.

What will be required at the airport when using an E-Boarding Pass?
You should have the barcode image available on the screen of your device when approaching the security checkpoint or boarding gate. Please ensure the entire barcode is visible on the screen of your device and make certain the backlight is on when the barcode is being scanned. You should also have a valid government issued photo ID available for inspection at the Security Checkpoint.

What if I am checking luggage?
If you are using an E-Boarding pass and checking luggage simply use the Self-service Check-in Kiosk at the airport to check luggage. Please have your valid government issued photo ID as well as the barcode image on the screen of your device available for the ticket agent to verify before proceeding to the security checkpoint with your E-Boarding Pass. A new E-Boarding Pass will not be sent.

What if I am standing by for First Class at the gate, what happens to my E-Boarding Pass?
When you are cleared off the Passenger Processing List in First Class, your E-Boarding Pass in Coach will be exchanged for a paper boarding pass in First Class, and you will board using the paper boarding pass. If you are not cleared in First Class, you will board with your original E-Boarding Pass.

Sunday Dinner @ Senjyu Sushi

Sunday, October 12, 2008

Another Sunday, I'd resting at home for the past few days due to illness, and now I'm recuperating.. Thanks God!

I had lunch with Jamie at One Utama, and window-shopped for awhile. I was thinking to call my dear to come over to have dinner with me but I didn't, because I'm wasn't sure if he free... but at 5.45pm, he called and said he's coming to bring me for dinner. I was happy!

He asked to dress nicer because....... he said he wanted to wear his newly bought sport shoes--Adidas Goodyear!!! *faint*

We went to The Curve this evening. We walked and window-shopped awhile and at the same time thinking of what to have for dinner... and we arrived at one of the Japanese Restaurant at Cineleisure--Senjyu Sushi.

It's a newly opened on 20 September 2008. Not so many people dine-in at the moment. Foods are nice and fresh but pricey! We ordered Ikura Chanwanmushi (MYR 8.90), California Roll (MYR 6.00), AirFlown Salmon (MYR 8.00), Soft Shell Crab Roll (MYR 6.00), King Prawn Tempura Roll (MYR 12.00), Yasai Miso Soup (MYR 8.90), seafood fried rice (MYR 12.00) and Sencha (MYR 2.00)

See? the price as compared to Sushi King, Sushi Zanmai... it's expensive! Other than those colour plates on the sushi bar, I'd notice they do not have any grilled fish on the menu, e.g ill or saba.... However, they do have their specialities, e.g Japanese varies desserts.. But we didn't have it because we were bloated. =P

Thanks for your concerns

Saturday, October 11, 2008

Thanks for my friends who'd called/sms-ed/msn-ed me for the past few days. I'm feeling much better now.

I'd lost so much of my appetite these days, and lost weight too... must be damn ugly now and my face is rather pale :S

I was almost admitted to hospital yesterday because I'd vomited for 3 days. I took medicine but it doesn't turn good either. So I went to SJMC for another consultation. Doctor gave me much stronger medicine and the most important is the Oral Re-hydrated Salt to rehydrate back whatever its loses in my body.

Doctor advised me to have at least 3 sachets of oral re-hydrated salt after meal. But I had 5 sachets yesterday. I'm now feeling alright, at least I didn't vomit yesterday. Yet I can't eat deep fried, oily, spicy stuffs until I'm fully recuperated. At the moment, I only can have very light foods-->porridge, vegetable soup, bread and etc...

Well, consult a doctor in SJMC isn't cheap though, it costs me RM 125.50!!! However, it's worth for money as the medicines gave are much better than those clinics out there.

I'm gonna take care myself and remember not to have 'lou shu fun' again.. It caused me food poisoning twice this year!!! =(

Well, it has been a week plus i didn't update my blog. I was busy watching Hong Kong drama which I'd completed it yesterday only.

And lately, things are not going well with me. It's one of the reason I don't feel like blogging. I slept over it... hope things will be better.

I've booked myself a ticket to go for a short holiday plus work. *OMG, work???*
Just to East Malaysia! I missed all my friends there. Everytime when I was there, due to time constraint and I couldn't meet all of them. Hopefully this time, I shall spend quality time with them.

Sigh.. I'm now stuck in the office waiting for dear to pick me up for dinner... *starving and freezing*

Dinner @ Kangsane BBQ

Friday, September 19, 2008

It has been awhile I'd heard of the Korean Village at Ampang, but never been.. until one day, my friend proposed to have dinner there.

I was kind of impressed, there are so many Korean Restaurants along the road, as well as Korean mini markets and condos or apartments that full of Korean. That's why named as Korean Village.

So we picked and chose to have dinner at Kangsane BBQ. It was double storey restaurant, they have a so-called 'private' table with bamboo shades for 2-4 peoples at downstair, whereas upstair it's more for big group.

I'm not so familiar with the korean foods, as were my friend. Therefore, we just random pick, DO RE MI... here we go :

The rice served with wooden hot pot. They took out the rice and put it
into the
rice bowl and the remaining, pour some water, cook for 5-10
minutes and it became porridge.

The starter

Nakji O-Jingeo Someon (small octopus, cuttle fish with noodle) @ MYR 30.00

Haimool Ddukboki (seafood rice cake) @ MYR 20.00

Kimchi Zzgiye @ MYR 17.00

I kinda like this place, as the waiter do teach you the dine etiquette, and they are just be patient and polite. You will just feel the warmest when you dine in.. Don't con by the food menu, it looks very small portion but when in fact, it's BIG enough for 2 serving. Well, we finished at about 10pm only.. too filing and stomach was bloated. Had a great chat as well. Thanks for the dinner my friend!
