Business Class seat for Business Women

Monday, August 16, 2010

This is the really outdated post indeed.. it was last year T_T!! This goes to show how busy i am =P Last year itself, I traveled to Hong Kong twice! One for my leisure trip, two weeks after was my business trip.

Well, as mentioned, "Business Trip" always in "Business Class" for me =P *dont jealous* I know there are many companies really cut cost, cut budget, cut travel and cut everything that deal with monetary.

I would say I was the lucky one, traveled to Hong Kong for just only 1 night and on Business Class cabin for round-trip!

It was my first time on Business Class and feeling excited. Looking my left and right, ha! It was the CEO of Tesco sitting next beside me! Had a chat while on the way back from Hong Kong. He was a nice guy, down to earth, handsome somemore *ahem*

Ooh, back to Cathay Pacific's Business Class cabin. Although it wasn't the new aircraft of B777ER, but this is consider "okay" for me being as a first timer.

Onboard foods were nice & they served haagen dazs ice-cream !!! It-was-so-filling. Do you how much joy you have when you had the whole cup of ice-cream all by yourself with a choice of different favor?

3-4 courses meal, wine, ice-cream... you name it all... *Happy*

Fake iPhone 3GS!

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

One of my uncle went to China recently and bought an iPhone (he told me that iPhone very famous now)...

He came back, shown me and asked me how to operate the phone.

The moment he shown me, I laughed and laughed non-stop. Enough for the laughing part. I was looking at the on/off botton which is on the right top corner of the phone, which I couldn't find it. So I asked my aunt, where's the on/off botton, "the home botton" is the one... I was like, Okay....

*Keep pressing hard for the home botton*

And I decided to give up, and start snapping picture of the iPhone 3G look alike... check it out the cool iPhone, manufactured in China. Apparently, China is very good in producing fake items.

Do you have any idea which one is the real one?

This iPhone come with 2 set of sciphone li-ion battery

iPhone 'casing' is removable and changeable. You may choose your favourite color!

it comes with stylus, really 'stylo' iPhone lol...

There's no on/off botton and stereo headphone minijack

USB connector with no built in speaker. Like that, how to talk?

Volumn adjustment, but this phone no silent mode function... ermm ...

The box come with USB Cable, lousy earphone, extra sciphone li-ion battery only

The casing (interior)

The casing (exterior)

Not bad wor, there's also guide book !

The home botton so damn big

And when I try to put it into my cover, the 'apple' is totally out of alignment !

I wanted to look at phone but too bad, battery KO. I asked my aunt/uncle, is there any games downloaded? They told me yes but most of it cannot play one...and one more thing to share about this phone, it's only come with USB charger, and there's no adapter. And whenever you plug in the adapter, the casing can "come out" one la... Hahahahahaha

Wanna buy this China's Apple product? It's only cost you approx. RM 200!

*Evil me with an evil grin*

Why I'm not an air-stewardess?

Thursday, July 22, 2010

Many of my friends or somebody that I've just met knowing that I'm working for an airline, the first thing in their mind is this formula, "airlines = air-sterwardess". First question would be : "are you the air-stewardess?" "Do i look like a stewardess to you?", I responded naturally with smile ;)

Many years back, my mom, my aunt, basically my relatives asked me why don't I apply for air-stewardess job since I'm pretty (which I doubt I am but...this is what they said la...), i have got the height, and told me air-stewardess's salary is high, attractive perks, got the chance to travel around the world and blah blah blah. What they'd said is actually true. But I have my own perspective too.

Air-stewardess is not a glamour or sophicated job now as compare to those day, back to 80's and early 90's. What a long flying hours and stressful job. I personally call it "high-pay waiter/waitress". They don't need a degree holders to become one and to be honest, many of them are just SPM holders (form 5) only. I actually told my cousin sister (which she dreamt to become one) to further study first, at least to obtain a diploma certificate. Otherwise in future, no employer would want to hire her.

In Asia, you can't by flying for the rest of your life! None of the Asian carriers would allow you to fly until retirement age. They will ask you to go (resign or transfer for ground operation/office work) after you've reach certain age. Unlike European or American carriers, they are still serving on-board eventhough you can see their damn obvious wrinkles (now, imagine when they smile at you). *big grins* No way the airlines can ask them to leave, because they have a very strong union that protects the employee's right and ensure the airlines will be sued to death. Haha.. don't play play arh....

I'm working in an airlines industry, in town office to be specific. The reasons why I decided not to fly high because I feel that they don't need to think as much as a ground operation/sales & marketing/PR does. They just need to know how to serve coffee or tea or even milo! Brainless... and eventually all the brain cell will die (sorry for my cabin-crew friends, I don't mean you but this is the fact)

Recently, I just got to know from my friend there are secretaries (in an airlines office) know ALMOST nothing because they were cabin crew and now transferred. They don't even know how to draft and type a letter, what they do everyday is just sit there to send and receive telex messages. See, how bad it is, now you know why I always stick to ground operational job.

Joke from my friend: they are good in stirring tea, good in stirring man or even stealing man.. *LoL*

BLACKLIST Hoho Steamboat Restaurant

Monday, July 19, 2010

You think this porridge-based steamboat is good, look tempting? Oh-yeah, after we scooped the soup/water and asked them for more rice !!! This pot is suppose to be the sticky porridge (which both my darling & myself thought it was) But too bad, it's waterly porridge-based and we can't see any rice in there. I mean the whole pot is basically just soup or water (whatever you wanna call it). Damn frustrating & angry. *Keep scooping the porridge-soup and pour it to the drain*

There goes one aunty (the owner I supposed) came to us said, the porridge is like that one, you don't have to scoop the soup. We replied her that : "aunty, this isn't a porridge-based either a soup based steamboat. We ordered porridge-based steamboat but we can't see any rice in there, might as well order a superior soup or tomyam based ?!!"

Aunty repeated what she'd said earlier, "it is like that one (for many many times), WE ARE NOT SELLING PORRIDGE"! I was like, wtf! If you not selling porridge, what the hell you offer us a porridge-based steamboat? She nagged & walked away after that because we ignored her. *Enjoying our porridge*

I told myself not to dine at Hoho steamboat restaurant again. This is the last time. I will not come to YOU including the branches also ! Yes, I BAN all. Say I bad!

KLCC LRT Station

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

Do you need me to say more of this picture? The above crowd happened very often, easily 4-5 times in a month. Reason being are "Technical problem" & "Train Platform Rosak". Besides the two mentioned, rainy day also caused a major issue too! Punctuality of train is also an issue for those taking train to/from works. I am seriously doubt what have Ministry of Transport Malaysia done... completely useless !

Kids Nowadays

Monday, July 5, 2010

Lately, I'm observe kids so much and thought of how to improve them to become better so how. Of course not to anyone but the closest one like my niece or nephew.

Realize that they are only need to concentrate on their school works. Apart from school works, either they watch TV/DVD, play games (nintendo, wii and etc), none of them will help mom in doing some houseworks.

This is the thing I don't really like it. Being a child, apart from your school works, eventhough you are not helping your mom in doing houseworks. At least, you should take good care of yourself. Like, tidy up your own work place, do your school work, practise your piano without shouting to do so over and over again, discipline, watch out your time management, throw your dirty cloths into washing machine, and etc.

Being a 9 years old girl/boy and above, I believe they can take care themselves with minimum supervision from their parents. But then again, kids are spoilt badly. They don't care about their school works, examinations, time management. They are just being lazy and so much so depends on their parents including the simplest thing which they can just do it themselves -- comb their hairs! These eventually added to a mom's or dad's burden.

I remember when we were young (sister/brother and myself), we can take care of ourselves very good. I'm proud to say so. You know why?

1/ We were so independent until my parents can leave 3 of us at home for a week and opt for holidays.

2/ We cooked lunch & dinner when parents were abroad. Of course not including the shopping part. Usually, they will buy veggies/meats/fruits that can last for a week.

3/ We set alarm and woke up ourselves in the morning. Prepare ourselves and made our breakfast before we wake up mom to send us to school. Usually mom will prepare breads or coco-crunch the night before, in the morning, we just need to made ourselves a cup of milo.

4/ First things reach home, we do houseworks and followed by school works without hesitate. I remember vaguelly, that my mom was so cute, she assigned us houseworks. I was assigned to take care all clothing. Wash cloths (washing machines or hand wash), clotheslines, fold cloths, iron cloths. Basically, everything about cloths. Whereas my sister was assigned to take care of floor, sweep and mop the floor since I don't sweep/mop as clean as my sister does. :P Last but not least, my brother was still very young that time, so he did a light & easy one.. dustbin cleaner ! hahahahah

*a lot more to share but lazy to type*

We were all trained since young, including cooking. Amazing right? I would say, my mom is such a good trainer. Now, she don't houseworks but us. I wonder, how to train the kids nowadays since it's not mine... I would say, they are just so pampered, well taken care of and spoilt badly.

Waverly Hearts Mini Skinny Coach

Tuesday, June 29, 2010

Didn't realise the night is getting darker, didn't realise that it was already 8pm. Didn't realise I was the last one when I about to leave office...

I was supposed to go for happy hours cum dinner with colleagues but I wasn't feeling well that day. Instead, I went to KLCC to get some bread before I head home. BUT the Coach clearance sales caught my attention when I pass by it! *wink*

That's it! Once I entered, I got myself a waverly hearts mini skinny coach, so called "cardholder". I have been searching around but I just don't find one that suit me.. It's also a tiny reward for myself after months of not buying stuffs. Hahaha *excuses*

My new little cardholder

Pretty gold hearts painted on the signature op art add a little romance. Printed PVC, zip-top closure, 1 1/4" attached split key ring. 4 1/2" (L) x 3 (H).

Yay! I can put all my business cards in there.. just fit it nicely though

How do you like my mini skinny coach?

Idiotic 03

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Well, after months I abandoned my blog, today would be the LRT story!

For those who take LRT every morning, you might aware many of them will do their back track journey, from Taman Paramount or Taman Bahagia to Kelana Jaya. The simple reason is : they need a seat. Same goes to me. I needed it badly because I couldn't stand long early morning, especially before I take my breakfast.

So, what happened was, I was queuing up for train as usual at Kelana Jaya Station. Upon train arrival, I went into the train, I saw a empty seat at the corner and one idiot Malay lady seating next to the empty seat putting her handbag on it. So I went there and wanted to seat down. She said : “No, this seat is reserved for my friend”. I replied : “No No No! Seat is based on first come first served basis, no reserved is allowed!” She insisted her way, keep telling me her (idiot) friend is coming in and blah blah blah…

I was so damn angry ! And really wanted to tell this idiot that, if everyone do the same (reserved seat), why must we queue up for train every morning? But I choose to keep quiet. Really WTF!!!

Journey from Kelana Jaya to KLCC is wasn’t near at all, it’s 30 mins ride.. and because of this idiot, I would have to stand for 30 mins with high heel!!! In addition to that, my body is weak and I vaguely remember that I fainted inside in train once (also standing, pack like sardine).

Customer Service

Thursday, February 11, 2010

Wondering how does customer service/operators work nowadays. Most of them are not English speaking and may sound very annoyed when you speak to them. Some of them will just keep quiet when you talk, or some will keeping asking "what", "har" (in mandarin means 'what/how'), "apa", and all sort of nonsense. But the worst, which I hate the most is they hang up the phone!!

Today I made a call to one of the oil & gas company, you may not want to know who are they, hired this idiot as an operator :

Me : Hi, Good Morning ! I'm xxx, calling from xxx. To whom am I speaking?
Idiot : Operator.

(oh-ya, obviously you are the operator, as I pressed the call button for operator assistance!)

Me : Yes, how do I address you?
Idiot : What?
Me : What's your name?

This idiot didn't answer my last question but end the call immediately. I was like wtf. Then, I called the second time, as soon as the call connected, the idiot ended the call without saying anything...

Oh gosh! How can a huge company's operator provides such service to its client?! Hopeless...
