I know what you are thinking...
You think this porridge-based steamboat is good, look tempting? Oh-yeah, after we scooped the soup/water and asked them for more rice !!! This pot is suppose to be the sticky porridge (which both my darling & myself thought it was) But too bad, it's waterly porridge-based and we can't see any rice in there. I mean the whole pot is basically just soup or water (whatever you wanna call it). Damn frustrating & angry. *Keep scooping the porridge-soup and pour it to the drain*
There goes one aunty (the owner I supposed) came to us said, the porridge is like that one, you don't have to scoop the soup. We replied her that : "aunty, this isn't a porridge-based either a soup based steamboat. We ordered porridge-based steamboat but we can't see any rice in there, might as well order a superior soup or tomyam based ?!!"
Aunty repeated what she'd said earlier, "it is like that one (for many many times), WE ARE NOT SELLING PORRIDGE"! I was like, wtf! If you not selling porridge, what the hell you offer us a porridge-based steamboat? She nagged & walked away after that because we ignored her. *Enjoying our porridge*
I told myself not to dine at Hoho steamboat restaurant again. This is the last time. I will not come to YOU including the branches also ! Yes, I BAN all. Say I bad!
I had my very healthy lunch few days ago. I ate sandwich for lunch, an expensive sandwich---O'Briens (an Irish gourmet), it is just a few steps from my office and this is my first time to dine-in also.
I have been hearing from others that there's one Italian Restaurant serves the best pasta. But where exactly is the restaurant?
Okay, I would have to back dated again.. see, how out-dated I am ! My friend called me on my birthday in Feb, and wanted to treat me a birthday dinner but I was not available, so we postponed it until a month later.. ya i know this is a very belated birthday treat but who cares?!
My friend brought me to this Italian Restaurant that have been mentioned it many many times. And this time, I got the chance to taste it. It's located at Jaya33--D'italiane Kitchen!
Looking at the menu and the thought of all the delicious food made me salivate. Well, I'd ordered Agli Scampi since everyone is recommending they serve the best pasta, my friend ordered Carbonara, and some appetizers.
It has been awhile I didn't update my foods blog...
simply because I was too busy with work recently and STRESSED!!!
=P This is the very first time I bought them dinner, an exclusive one after two years working together.Tykoh Inagiku offered a very descent ambience and mostly Japanese dine in this restaurant. It serves a very authentic Japanese foods and it's delicious! However, it's not cheap to dine! Let's check it out how exclusive and mouth-watering foods we'd ordered.
If you ever travel to Manila, not sure if you observant enough that the international chain fast food--McDonald and the local chain fast food--Jollibee are always next to each other, just a few steps away !!!

Are you the prawn lover? If yes, you should try the sang har mien (生虾面-prawn noodle) at section 19, Petaling Jaya.
It was one of the signature dish, you'll see most people order it. The portion wasn't big if you are the big eater. (hehe, I'm of one it ;P) Hence, you may have to order other dishes.
People has been telling me that there's one famous Bak Kut Teh in Kulai, Johor. While on the way back from Desaru, we stopped by Kulai to try it.
There were many peoples but only have 2-3 workers. We waited for them to clean up the table, and waited to be served. It takes quite sometime.
Thier Bak Kut Teh wasn't served in a big claypot but individually. It's just plain Bak Kut Teh soup with meat in it, no veggies, no mushrooms.
It was another raining day. After a tight schedule appointments, finally I was back from Ipoh for a day sales trip with my manager. She brought me a cafe-Decanter which located somewhere in between the residential area. It was a very quiet place, which targeted more for the residences nearby.
Last Friday was the last day of working. As we were busy packing stuffs, cleaning up and etc.
After a tired day, I suggested to have a Korean BBQ dinner at 'Korean Village' along Jalan Ampang. That was my first time having Korean BBQ, not sure what to order. Luckily there were pictures on the menu which made my life easier :D
It's hard to say goodbye to everyone who has worked together for years though it's not out of our will... It's not a farewell dinner for myself nor my colleagues, it's for all of us in the company. It's pretty sad that we have to go on with our own path from now on. I would say this is the best team I ever work with before.
Boss with his assistants from Singapore came to KL to settle the outstanding issues and also to buy us a farewell dinner. We'd booked a table at Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine, at the lobby of Menara TA One where my office located. I have never dine in before. This will be the first time and the last time for me because foods are expensive!!
Well, something really difference during Valentines Day this year. Instead of celebrating together, this year dear brought me to his friend's wedding dinner held in Ipoh on Valentines day. What a easy day to remember eh. Wedding Anniversary on Valentines day, hahaha..
Happy Valentines and Happy Marriage for the couples !
