Last Day of March

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

I'd been resting at home for about 2 weeks now. It's very boring life without a job! I can't wait to go back for work. Staying at home do nothing but eat, sleep and shit, somehow update my blog and download some HongKong series.

I'd enough rest, it's time to resume my working life. I will start my new job next week. Hurray !!! Finally I got a job during recession time. Not so bad =P

Wish me luck for the new job :)

Sze Hwa Bak Kut Teh @ Kulai

Sunday, March 29, 2009

People has been telling me that there's one famous Bak Kut Teh in Kulai, Johor. While on the way back from Desaru, we stopped by Kulai to try it.

There were many peoples but only have 2-3 workers. We waited for them to clean up the table, and waited to be served. It takes quite sometime.

Thier Bak Kut Teh wasn't served in a big claypot but individually. It's just plain Bak Kut Teh soup with meat in it, no veggies, no mushrooms.

Foods are decent but small portion. You may need to order extra :P

A Big Day for ChauYi

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

Congratulation to my best friend--Chauyi, finally stepped into another chapter of life after 8 years courtship with her bf. Now, she's married!! The wedding was held in JB.

All of us traveled from Kuching, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur to JB to attend this special event. It was a great gathering among ex-housemates, ex-schoolmate and ex-classmate. I missed those time when we were still young and during college's life. It was full of fun and no doubt. But now seeing my friends are getting married...one by one, year by year... they are no longer being single and lonely. Indeed, I'm happy for all of you !

The actual day was on 21 March, Saturday. But I'd arrived JB one day earlier, can't wait to see the bride :P I was also invited to become 'ji mui' (sister). We had 7 sisters. We thought and shared games for the bridegroom's brothers. But the brothers wasn't steady and not supporting enough to take up the challenges. hahahaha.. After games and tea ceremony to the elderly, we traveled from Kulai to Megah Ria (the bridegroom's house) to had our buffet lunch. Then we went to Perling, the lovely house for the couple. We chilled there, took our nap before preparing ourselves for the cruise dinner at Danga Bay.

It was my first time to board cruise for dinner. It wasn't a big cruise and good enough to accommodate 19 tables for close friends and relatives. We enjoyed the sunset onboard and also busy help out at the reception.

it's me @ the reception

During dinner, we (Regina, Ami, Linzi and myself) went on stage to perform a song to the couples. Then, the couples also shared their feeling with us. It was so touched at that moment, they shed their tears, so were their parents after listened to their words that kept it to themselves all the while.

We had lot of fun during dinner, we talked, we laughed, and of cause we drink. :) dinner ended about 11pm. We were the last to leave as we were still busy snapping pictures.. hahaha
Well, it was a happy day for us. Once again, I wish you both happy always and take care of my 'kai zai' :P

Dinner @ Decanter

Wednesday, March 18, 2009

It was another raining day. After a tight schedule appointments, finally I was back from Ipoh for a day sales trip with my manager. She brought me a cafe-Decanter which located somewhere in between the residential area. It was a very quiet place, which targeted more for the residences nearby.

It serves western foods as well as local delights. Asam Laksa is one of the recommended dish. But I didn't order it because my stomach was calling pasta for long, my favourite :P Foods served very simple and decent. I like the shepherd's pie, on top of it was the mash-baked-potatoes and lagsana at the bottom. *yummy*

Foods are at reasonable price with cozy environment, nice ambience ;) It's nice to chill-out with friends as well as dating. I'm sure no one able to find you if you were to date someone's girlfriend there :P hahahahaha

Dinner @ Nak Won

Monday, March 16, 2009

Last Friday was the last day of working. As we were busy packing stuffs, cleaning up and etc.

After a tired day, I suggested to have a Korean BBQ dinner at 'Korean Village' along Jalan Ampang. That was my first time having Korean BBQ, not sure what to order. Luckily there were pictures on the menu which made my life easier :D

I chose a dish of beef and pork for BBQ and few main course which we could share. We had a Korean style's 'tatami' seat at corner. The ambience was okay. We didn't really enjoy ourselves because next to our table, there were few youngster talking and laughing out loud. =(

The Korean Style's starter

Beef sliced rib marinated barbeque @ MYR 53/pax

Marinated pork barbeque on hot plate MYR 26/pax

Ginseng Chicken Soup with rice @ MYR 25

Taufoo soup with rice @ MYR 15

Mixed rice with assorted veggies served in hot stone bowl @ MYR 15
There were a waiter served and BBQ the pork and beef for us. The beef was really tasty though I hardly take beef but it was just perfect! *mouth-watering* It tastes much better than the pork! Seriously, no joke.

The foods we ordered was just nice for 4 peoples. Foods are delicious with reasonable pricing though beef is slightly expensive but its worth. They did serve fruits and some sort of barley juice, its very refreshing and cooling. Bill came, it was just MYR 144 for 4 persons. Cheap right?

Sweet Sunday

Saturday, March 14, 2009

I have to back date to last month...

I vaguely remember there was one Friday night, both my dear and I had a fight over the phone. I was really angry because he shouted at me and it seems everything I said/did was wrong. Somehow he just wanted his way. I was fragile, everytime when come to argument, I can't hold my tear. I didn't sleep well the whole night and caused I had a big eyes bag.

I went for work on the Saturday Morning. I was moody and feeling restless. I remembered I was the only one on duty. I was kind of busy and phone kept ringing and it seems everything is urgent and I would have to settle it asap. While busying settle one case. I got one stupid phone call from Mat-Salleh. I got scolded by a him over the phone (again) , it wasn't my fault, he was being nasty towards me. I kept quiet while he was release his anger towards me. Then he shouted at me and said : I'm now talking to you, aren't you hear me and answer me? I can't do much and I know I'm not supposed to 'interrupt' him.

All I did is to let him talk and talk, and get rid of his anger. I know it's hard and somehow I have to be patient though my heart was deep hurt inside. As soon as I hang up the call. I quickly ran to the toilet, washed my face and told myself not to cry. After returned to my desk, I saw a sms from dear :
Baby, sorry for scolding at u last night. I Love u. I didn't reply him nor call him *tears drop again* I was angry that he don't listen me, meantime I was happy that I'm still the loved one in his heart.

I've got a few missed calls from dear that afternoon. I purposely turned my phone into silent mode. I don't want to answer. Until late night, dear called me and I answered, and he wanted to see me after he had wedding dinner somewhere near my house but I rejected and told him I don't wish to. I need to be alone and be silent. I know he was sad and feel guilty (perhaps) that he'd scolded me badly and he wanted to do something about it. It wasn't the right time for him.

The next day, dear never give up and he came to me. He gave me a hug and trying to be funny, I know all he want is to make me smile again. Which I did. After had our late lunch, we went to OneUtama, did some shopping, he bought sunglasses for me and himself. And then we passed by one wedding fair/promotion held at old wing.

Dear tagged me over and start asking about packages. He said he wanted to find out more, once he sat down, he seems to be interested and started negotiating packages with the staffs there. Ha! Dear was hugging me and asked, should he sign on the wedding package. I said NO and told him to do survey first. Which he agreed at first, but afterall, he signed and paid deposit. He said it was a really good deal, not to miss. I was like OMG... I know the day gonna come, feeling happy yet nervous because I'm not ready...

It was a sweet Sunday for me. I always wanted to have my wedding pictures snap at oversea. Yes, part of my dream came true. My dear bought it without telling him before this. It's all happened on 08 February 2009. Yes, shooting will be in Bali sometime next year.. Thanks dear!! I love you too.

Farewell Dinner @ Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine

Thursday, March 12, 2009

It's hard to say goodbye to everyone who has worked together for years though it's not out of our will... It's not a farewell dinner for myself nor my colleagues, it's for all of us in the company. It's pretty sad that we have to go on with our own path from now on. I would say this is the best team I ever work with before.

Boss with his assistants from Singapore came to KL to settle the outstanding issues and also to buy us a farewell dinner. We'd booked a table at Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine, at the lobby of Menara TA One where my office located. I have never dine in before. This will be the first time and the last time for me because foods are expensive!!

We ordered variety of foods, from starter, appetizer, side dishes, sashimi, main course and desserts ... I would say foods are super super delicious and you could taste it freshness! Besides, we ordered one bottle of Sake, it was served in both temperature, cold and warm sakae, both can have
a subtly different tastes.Personally I would prefer cold sake. Why? Because it feels refreshing when you drink it, and later you would feel the 'heat' inside your body =)

Dinner was pretty good, and we did enjoy ourselves there. Boss also agreed to give us a free air-ticket to United States. YES, it's FREE TICKET okay... We could choose any city in States. Great isn't it? Well, I can't wait for it. =D

Guess how much was the bill??

Farewell Gift

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

I got an aircraft model as my farewell gift, it's Boeing 747-400 with the scale of 1:100 :P

I always wanted to have a aircraft model to display at my home but it's just too costly to buy it. Well, this time I owned it as for my remembrance with the 2 years service with the company. I will miss the branding, the name, the logo, everything! I'll miss NWA.

Funny Questions?

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

I came across people asked me these questions :

(1) Do I get meal onboard when my ticket is the lowest fare type in economy class?
Yes, of course you will get meal service else you'll starve to dead for almost 20hours flight journey. (we are not operating like AirAsia, you pay for your own foods and its subject to availability okay!)

(2) Do you have any cheapest fare where I have a jump seat (seat next to the pilot) ? or Do you have any fare type (the cheapest) where I get onboard, I can sit at the aisle or stand everywhere?
You wish!! No ticket No boarding. Standing inside the aircraft?? Pardon me? you think you are taking a bus back home for 30 minutes ride? You're kidding me!

(3) Do you have any slightly higher fare type where I can have a slightly bigger seat onboard?
Of Course we have. Pay more to enjoy Business Class seat then. It's very comfortable and you'll get the Business Class services!

I'm Jobless

Saturday, March 7, 2009

I'm jobless...

I have many friends, clients asked me why don't I just accept the offer by xxx company, the reason was the overall package remuneration is not match. It's as simple as that plus those so called 'little' issues which you may found from my previous entries " appointment letter "

Well, the first offer was declined with a formal letter. Then, xxx company was beating-around-the-bush ask me if I'm interested to work as a contractual staff for 2-3 months. I declined him for the second time. The reason behind was, I know they can't handle it, want to have all products knowledge and skills to pass on to their staffs.

This is really unfair to be a contractual staff, irregardless how many times of salary they are "WILLING" to pay, but term and conditions/deals are very much favor to the themselve as an employer, and I will never interested to work with such employer no more. Never in my life I see such employer gone into such a weird employment before. I wonder, how they survived all the years.

Customer Relation

Thursday, March 5, 2009

An award should go to the Virgin Atlantic Airlines gate attendant in Sydney some months ago for being smart and funny, while making her point, when confronted with a passenger who probably deserved to fly as cargo.

A crowded Virgin Atlantic flight was cancelled after Virgin's 767s had been withdrawn from service. A single female attendant was rebooking a long line of inconvenienced travellers.

Suddenly an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his ticket down on the counter and said, "I HAVE to be on this flight and it HAS to be FIRST CLASS".

The attendant replied, "I'm sorry, sir. I'll be happy to try to help you, but I've got to help these people first, and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out."

The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that the passengers behind him could hear, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?"

Without hesitating, the attendant smiled and grabbed her public address microphone:

"May I have your attention please, may I have your attention please," she began - her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal. "We have a passenger here at Gate 14 who does not know who he is. If anyone can help to identify him , please come to Gate 14."

With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically, the man glared at the Virgin attendant, gritted his teeth and said, "FUCK YOU!"

Without flinching, she smiled and said - "I'm sorry, sir, but you'll have to get in line for that too."

An Incident

Monday, March 2, 2009

That was one Friday, right after work, I'd decided to take KTM back to hometown..

It was so pack and I was on queue for 30 minutes, waiting for the stupid train again. There were no air-cond with hundreds people queueing there, nearly fainted. I would say out of so many trains in Malaysia. KTM is the worst ever despite it connects to places like Rawang, Seremban or Klang.. whatever..

When the train arrived, without letting the passengers disembark, I was pushed into the train. Really wtf! You know when you were inside the train, there were so many NATURAL perfume with different favors!? What I normally do is, I have small bottle of perfume carry with me all the time, and I wear it around my wrist and I smell it instead of smelling the natural perfume.

There's one woman, was pushed inside the train too and pushed me. I was pretty unhappy and bad mood that day. I scolded her in cantonese : Aiyo, could you stop pushing me??!! . The woman answered unpleasantly : it was not me pushing you! "can't you stand properly?" and she talked to those indians standing agaist the door in malay and pointed at me : Jangan bertolak ar, nanti ah moi ini marah ooh! 'wtf'

*I turned my mp3 lounder*

She was standing very near to me and my pony tail lightly touch on her face and she shouted at me : could you not to move your head !?? your hair touch my face feel so itchy!!! I was pretty angry and shouted at her : " no one asking you to stand so near me!!" "since you are so sophiscated, don't take public transport!!" " if you dont like, you may get down the train immediately" she answered innocently "I want to go home ma" "then, don't talk so much, keep you mouth shut !!!" She kept quiet throughout the journey until she get down at Sg. Buloh.

What a bad day I had, and so many people were looking at us. But who cares? I don't give a damn. I then shared this story with my mom and aunty, they were laughing like hell, said I'm so action and scolded people at public. So what?
