CZ fights cancelled?

While enjoying my breakfast, my colleague told me

"Hey, your booking under CZ flight cancelled!"
"What?? Cancelled? Why?"
"Not sure, call them to find out, that's why i don't like to book on CZ flight, eventhou booking confirmed & ticket issued, they will cancelled your flight also"
"Damn it !"

After finish my breakfast, i called CZ, a girl named 'WEI' answered my call.

"Good Morning, China Southern Airlines"
"Good Morning, you're speaking to Isabelle, calling from Northwest Airlines, appreciate if you could retrieve this reference please"

"This booking is for Mr Ng XXX from Lhasa/Guangzhou"
"No! This is a round-trip booking, from Guangzhou/Lhasa/Guangzhou on 24Dec & 28Dec respectively. Electronic ticket already issued on 05Dec. But my system shown here, CZ not operating on that day"
"My system shown confirmed on Lhasa/Guangzhou on 28Dec"
"But my system not! Could you advise us on this as this is an award ticket & ticket is issued!"
"This booking was cancelled by our HQ"
"So? How can you simply cancel booking without re-route it?"
"I've no idea, have to check with my HQ"
"Do i have to contact your HQ in China to rectify it?"
"Yes"
"Do i have to call them directly?"
"We will call as we do not have customer services contact for you..."
"So, when will you call as i have to contact my passenger?"
"Well, I will try my best"
"When will you call"
"We can call them immediately, not sure if they can rectifty it immediately."
"Well, we hope to hear from you asap & advice us the new route"
"Will do"
"Shall i wait for your call?"
"Yes.. may i have your contact number?"
"03-2161xxxx"
"Thank you"
"Thanks!"

Walau, the way CZ's girl talk as if this is not their problem & not bother it at all. I called up because i need to find any other solutions and to rectify it together as you are the operating carrier.

And the service offered is totally unfriendly & unhelpful... and they will only reply you 'we will try our best"...

sigh... in future, i will TRY MY BEST not to book on CZ flights already! Ticket confirmed & issued also will cancelled by them!

Dream~~~

I had a dream this morning that i'm going to Buffalo in the state of New York tonite!!!
Maybe too much works with me recently, that's why make me wanna travel. I'm not too sure why i chose Buffalo, perhaps it's pretty near to Niagara Falls...

It was 7.00am in the morning yet I'm still dreaming the trip to USA. Thought today i'm onleave as i'm going off tonite... but in real, i told myself, eventhou i'm go to USA tonite, i'm still have to work... Ooohhh gosh... sooo confusing...

Not sure if i have to chance to USA next year? awaiting for it...

Don't know your phone is ringing?

Last Friday 16 Nov 2007, i was doing some software installation for 2 PCs, one is at the front counter for a new girl who is newly join us and one is inside the back office for manager. A USA technician was on the line with me to assist me on the software installation.

After installed the PC at front desk, i ran to back office to do the 2nd PC installation. Then i intercom with the new girl who will use the 1-PC to check something on the screen. Phone rang..rang..rang and no one pick up (i know she's there at her desk)... sigh..

I ran out from back office and saw her sitting down at her desk. I asked her :

Why you not picking up the call??

Oohh, was it the phone rang just now??

Yes... it's the intercom!

Ohh really?? I do not know that.. ***vomiting blood***

WTF... i feel like giving her 02 slaps on her face! Ohh gosh ! Can you imagine that for her past 29 years that never know wat's intercom? I think she's most probably from jungle!

KK Trip 2-4 Nov 2007

Finally.. 3 of us were gathered in KK from 02-04 NOV 2007, even though it's just a short trip but it does meant to us...

Rented a car while in KK, and i'm a tour guide and driver for my 02 friends, Linzi & Chau Yi. After pick-up Linzi, we went to Tanjung Aru for sunset and coconut drink before got back to hotel for our nice seafood dinner at Salut with ex-colleagues from SilkAir and SilkAir's Manager. It's FREE dinner for us.. yeap :-P

2nd day, It's 06.30am.. linzi had woke us up for the day! I still felt dizzy as i drunk at BED with ex-colleagues. After prepared ourself, i drove them to Lintas (Lintas is one of the residential area) to have Pork Noodles with Anders & Georgina. Again, FREE breakfast :-) . They also arranged my island trip with SeaQuest (the island Ground operator). Thank you Anders!

After breakfast, we rushed to Marina as we have booked the speedboat at 10.30am. Cost for speedboat is RM 40.00 per person for Sapi Island (round-trip). The wave is too strong and too bumpy while on the way to island. Spent 3 hours at Sapi.. and decided to take a look at Manukan Island. SeaQuest operator had arranged the speedboat for us at 01.30pm for FREE. Manukan beach wasn't that nice. Water wasn't clear as Sapi island. Basically, Manukan island is too populated by tourists from Japan and Korea. We didn't get to swim or snorkel also.. just spend our time for chit-chatting... we returned to mainland at 3.00pm. We were so exhausted after island trip.

We back to hotel for a nice shower and we went out again, to have our light lunch at Starbucks. Then shop around at Warisan Square before going for our seafood dinner again at Port View Waterfront. It's just right opposite at Warisan Square. We'd ordered 04 dishes, 1kg of 'black pepper' crab, 500gram of 'black sauce' tiger prawn, 1kg of shell and 'belacan style' of sabah veggie. It's not cheap compare to Salut Seafood Restaurant !! These cost us RM200.00. Linzi wasn't feeling well tat nite, she didn't eat much... poor Linzi..

This is the last nite in KK.. so another outing with friends.. Supposely will be at Jugs, Sutera Harbor but it's too rush and Linzi wasn't feeling well.. so my friends and i went to Rumba at Le Meridien Hotel. Drinking and had lotsa fun.. dancing rumba, salsa...kidding ler.. i can't even know the steps!!

3rd day... as usual, we woke up very early...to prepare ourself and check out hotel.. we went for Gaya Street for breakfast. Then drop off our car at airport for our flights home. Goodbye Chauyi and Linzi.. we shall meet up again next year for our Bangkok and China Trip. Love you all so much... take care my friends!

A Brief Time On This Earth, Now With Our Lord For Eternity

I received a call from Tracy, my colleague around 3.30pm on the Sunday Afternoon, 21 Oct 2007, informed me that Lim passed away...

Lim was admitted to hospital in May 2007, and undergone couple of operations since her stay there. The latest one being, part of her intestines are now seated on top of her tummy, connected to a bag where her faeces are, externally. The difficulty in passing faeces has effected this operation. She's in pain all the time, from her abdomen sides to her right thigh. Her feet are bloated too. Her tumour size has grown bigger, by 1cm (from 4cm to 5cm). It aches us seeing her like that. She's not improved since she'd gone in General Hospital for 3 weeks.

Really sad that the doctor informed the family members that she will have a maximum of 18 months life span without her knowing it. It's good in the sense that she can still fighting to live on as she's always do for the past 4 years. But unexpectively, she's gone now...

She was buried at Nirvana, Semenyih, 8 blocks aways from her parents.
