Fuel Surcharge (Part Two)

Monday, June 30, 2008

Northwest Airlines had increased fuel surcharge from USD165 to USD190 per direction for its transpacific routes effective on 01 July 2008.

I don't even want to look at the airfare/fuel now.. it's killing the consumer now! The
cheapest airfare during low season can easily cost you 5k...

Moreover, Northwest Airlines goes for zero commission now. Travel Agencies have to implement the service fees whoever purchase the ticket from them to cover its lost of the commission given by the airlines...

The increasing of fuel nowaday is killing most of the airlines in the world. Airlines are now cutting down its routes and etc.. not sure if airlines can survive long... the impacts are really bad right now.. The whole industry is now very quiet.. it's dying...
